About Newmo

Newmo is a hair growth and care brand founded in 2018 by Pharma Foods International, a Japanese company.  The brand name signifies "hair regeneration."

Listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange PRIME, Pharma Foods International (PFI) is based in Kyoto, Japan.  Collaborating with two tertiary institutions, The University of Tokyo and Kyoto University, PFI conducted safe biotechnological research, combining medical and food, with a particular interest in studying eggs. Through research study on the 21-day development of a chick from an egg, they discovered the effective hair growth ingredient HGP (Hair Growth Peptide), and have subsequently obtained numerous patents to their credit. Their products are sold worldwide. As of February 17, 2025, Newmo hair growth products have sold over 30 million units.
